Contest Entrance Questions

Q. How can I enter a contest on MonvtilleChamber.org?
A. In order to enter a MontvilleChamber.org contest, you must be a registered chamber member or registered visitor of the site. There is no fee for registering as a site visitor. Once you have registered, you can enter any of the contests on the site by clicking the ENTER NOW! button from any contest page.

Q. How often can I enter the same contest?
A. You may enter the same contest once per day.

Q. Can members of my family or household also enter the same contests?
A. As long as they are a registered member of MontvilleChamber.org and meet all other eligibility requirements of the Contest Rules, there is no limitation on the number of entries per family or household.

Q. How will I be notified if I win any of the contests?
A. You will be notified via e-mail or telephone within five (5) business days after the drawing date of your winning entry.

Q. How can I see who has won any of the contests?
A. All contest winners will be posted at MontvilleChamber.org.

Q. Will the information contained in my user profile be provided to contest sponsors?
A. ONLY contest winners' information, including name, e-mail address and telephone number, will be provided to the contest sponsor for notification purposes only. Contestant Information is NOT PROVIDED to contest sponsors.

Contest Sponsorship Questions

Q. How do I sponsor a contest on MontvilleChamber.org?
A. Contest sponsorship is currently available to registered Montville Township Chamber of Commerce members. After logging in to the Members Area, click on "My Contests", then "Sponsor a Contest"

To join the Chamber of Commerce, download and complete our membership application or contact the chamber office at (973) 263-3310 or info@montvillechamber.org.

Q. How much does it cost to sponsor a contest with MontvilleChamber.org?
A. Contest sponsorship is currently FREE to all registered Montville Township Chamber of Commerce members.

Q. Will I be responsible for picking the contest winner?
A. The contest winner is selected randomly selected through a software program built into the site. Contest sponsors will be notified automatically via e-mail on the first (1st) business day of the month following the contest period to go to the site's Members Area to initiate the winner selection process.

Q. How do I post the contest winner on MontvilleChamber.org?
A. The posting of the contest winner's name on the web site will be posted automatically to the MontvilleChamber.org site.

Q. When and how do I notify the contest winner?
A. Contest sponsors are required to notify the winner within 5 business days of the contest end date. A name, e-mail address and telephone number will be provided to you during the winner selection process.

Q. Will I receive a list of my contest participants?
A. No. You can obtain the total number of entries in your contest, but not the names of the participants. The contests are designed as a means of gaining additional exposure via the web site for your business, not as a means of building a prospect list.

Q. Is there a minimum value that my contest prize must meet?
A. MontvilleChamber.org does not require that the contest prize meet a certain value, although we recommend that your prize is sufficient to encourage site visitors to enter your contest, especially since a contestant can only win one prize per month. We have found that "coupon" type prizes that require an additional purchase, offer a discount on a minimum purchase, or require a consultation are not as popular as those that offer prizes where there is no additional purchase necessary.
